BAS (Bid-Ask Spread) is a tool for analyzing the spread between the best buy and sell prices. The spread shows the difference between the price at which you can buy an asset and the price at which you can sell it.

What is BAS?

BAS visualizes the spread dynamics on the chart. You'll see how the spread changes over time — when it widens (low liquidity) and when it narrows (high liquidity). This helps determine the best moments for entering and exiting positions.

What does BAS show?

BAS analysis helps avoid entering positions during low liquidity moments when the spread is wide and entry/exit costs are high. Investors can use BAS to choose the optimal time for executing large orders with minimal slippage.

How does it help traders?

Here you can enable or disable BAS data display on the chart.

The popover header has help buttons: onboarding (what this tool is), tour (step-by-step guide), and simulator (examples on historical data).

On the cluster chart, BAS is displayed as an additional data layer. You'll see the spread visualization on each candle.

This is a powerful tool for analyzing trade volume distribution. Unlike candlestick charts, the cluster chart shows exactly where traders are buying and selling.

Each cluster shows the trade volume at a specific price. Red clusters = sells, green = buys. The larger the cluster, the greater the volume.

Clusters — the Foundation of Analysis

Shows the volume profile by price. Helps identify support and resistance levels.

Vertical Histogram

Shows volume distribution over time. Helps see trading activity during different periods.

Horizontal Histogram

Visualizes limit orders. Red zones = many sell orders, green = buy orders.

Platform Tour

Ticker selection button. Here you can select the trading pair for analysis on the cluster chart.

Timeframe selection. Determines the time interval of each bar on the chart: from minutes to days. Add frequently used timeframes to favorites for quick switching.

Chart data types. Choose which data to display in clusters: Volume, Delta, Number of Trades, and more. Use presets for quick switching between configurations.

Cluster detalization. Determines the level of data detail on the chart — from 50 to 400. The higher the value, the more price levels are displayed in each bar.

Left toolbar. Contains the crosshair, ruler, drawing tools, and analytical instruments for working with the chart.

Drawing tools. Create positions (Long/Short) directly on the chart, toggle visibility of drawn elements, or delete them all with one click.

Analytical instruments: Hippo Heatmap (large trades heat map), BAS (spread analysis), FTT (footprint tail tracking), and statistics histogram. Each tool has its own settings and onboarding.

The right panel is your control center: tickers, favorites, position analytics, and the trading simulator. Click on the panel to continue.

Tickers list in the right panel. Quickly switch between trading pairs, view key data, and add tickers to session lists.

Favorite tickers. Save frequently used trading pairs for instant access. Manage your favorites list from the right panel.

Position analytics. Track all your trading positions, analyze win rate, profit factor, and other metrics. Use the PnL histogram to evaluate and improve your strategy.

Trading simulator. Practice on historical data without risk — open positions, test strategies, and analyze results. Includes ready-made examples and homework assignments.

The cluster chart displays data in three sections: Cluster (main cluster), Horizontal (horizontal histogram), and Vertical (vertical histogram). Each section can show different data types: Volume, Delta (difference between buys and sells), Number of Trades, and others.

Chart Data Types

Use ready-made presets for quick switching between popular configurations: V (Volume) — trading volumes, D (Delta) — difference between buys and sells, Q (Quantity) — number of trades, C (Cumulative) — cumulative indicators. Click the star to add a preset to favorites.

Create your own data type combinations! Configure data types for each chart section, then save the configuration to one of six custom preset slots. Your settings will be saved and available for quick application at any time.

FTT (Footprint Tail Tracker) is a tool for analyzing "tails" on the cluster chart. Tails show areas where the price quickly bounced, indicating strong pressure from buyers or sellers.

What is FTT?

FTT automatically detects and highlights significant tails on clusters. You'll see markers showing: bounce strength (z-score), volume ratio (tail ratio), and pressure direction. The brighter the marker — the more significant the signal.

What does FTT show?

FTT helps find levels from which the price is likely to bounce again. Traders use these levels for setting stop-losses and determining entry points. Investors can use FTT to confirm the strength of support and resistance levels.

Here you can enable or disable FTT markers display on the chart.

Layer controls allow you to choose which tail types to display: upper (sellers) or lower (buyers).

Filters allow you to adjust the tool's sensitivity. You can filter out weak signals and keep only significant ones.

On the chart, FTT markers are displayed as colored dots or lines at levels where significant bounces occurred. Hover over a marker to see detailed information.

Hippo Heatmap is a heat map showing the density of large trades (so-called "hippos"). The tool visualizes at which price levels the highest concentration of large volumes occurs.

What is Hippo Heatmap?

The heat map displays zones of large trade accumulation in different colors: from cold (blue — low volume) to hot (red — high volume). You'll see where large players are actively buying or selling.

What does Hippo Heatmap show?

Hippo Heatmap helps identify levels where large market participants are accumulating or distributing positions. These levels often serve as strong support or resistance. Investors can use the heat map to understand "smart money" intentions.

Filters allow you to set the minimum trade volume and other parameters to display only significant data.

On the chart, Hippo Heatmap is displayed as a semi-transparent layer with color gradation. The brighter the color — the larger the volume of large trades at that level.

Notes Guide

Note title — also used as notification text. Tags help filter and organize your notes.

Watch — observe without a position. Buy — you expect the price to rise (long). Sell — you expect the price to fall (short).

Simple — a bookmark without alerts. Direction — alert when the target price is reached. Range — alert when the upper or lower boundary is broken.

Pending Order — entry at a specified price, then SL/TP tracking begins. TP/SL — set exit targets for the position.

Notifications trigger when: the price reaches TP or SL; the price hits the pending order level; in Watch Direction — the target price; in Watch Range — a boundary breakout. To enable, first set at least one of these conditions.

Save — creates a note with the current ticker and chart setup. Manage your notes on the Notes page.

Position Analytics is a panel for tracking and analyzing your trading positions. It displays all your directional positions (Long/Short) for the active ticker in one place.

What is Position Analytics?

The panel shows a list of positions with entry price, current PnL, and open date. You can filter positions by date range, view detailed statistics (win rate, profit factor, streaks, and more), export data to CSV, and analyze PnL distribution on a histogram.

What does the panel show?

Position Analytics helps you evaluate the effectiveness of your trading strategy. Track key metrics like win rate, average profit/loss, and risk/reward ratio. Use the statistics modal and PnL histogram to identify patterns and improve your trading decisions.

Session lists are temporary ticker lists with an expiration time. They are automatically cleared after a certain period, helping you keep track of only the most relevant instruments for your current trading session.

Session Lists

Add tickers to your lists with a single click directly from the chart or search results. No need to switch between windows — just click the add icon next to any ticker.

Quick Add

Create unlimited lists for different purposes: by strategy, market, timeframe, or any other criteria. Organize your tickers exactly the way that works best for you.

Multiple Lists

Day traders use session lists to track intraday setups and monitor fast-moving opportunities. Investors use them to watch potential entry points for long-term positions.

For All Traders

The simulator allows you to practice trading on historical data without risking real funds. You can open long and short positions, set stop-losses and take-profits.

Use the control panel to fast-forward time. Click the 'Next Bar' button for step-by-step advancement or use auto-scroll for continuous playback.
